Burns Memorial Fund Wins Employer of the Year Award

Burns Memorial Fund is honoured to be named the 2019 Employer of the Year for a small/medium business by the Faculty of Arts Co-op Program at the University of Calgary.

Many talented students have come to us through this program over the years. It has been a joy to watch them develop their skills and contribute so much to our organization and our community!

Congratulations also to our summer intern Sidrah Anees who was named the Arts Co-op Student of the Year!


Increasing the Impact of Afterschool Programs Through Funder Collaboration

The Burns Memorial Fund is pleased to announce that our work, with the many great partners on the Collaborative Funders’ Table, has been recognized and shared by Philanthropy In Action. A new platform focused on highlighting the contributions of philanthropic organizations in Canadian communities, Philanthropy In Action has profiled the collaborative approach of the Table and its impact on supporting vulnerable children and youth through afterschool programs.
